SCF Venice to Host Voter Information and Registration Event

(Bradenton, Fla., Oct. 2, 2018) — As Election Day approaches, the History and Political Science Club at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) is sponsoring a voter information and registration event 12:30-1:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 8, at SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail, Building 800, Selby Room. The event is free and open to the public.

The Honorable Paul A. Stamoulis, Charlotte County supervisor of elections, will speak on the importance of voting. Stamoulis practiced law for 22 years in New Jersey, including appointment as a Municipal Court Judge for two three-year terms. He has been active in the community since relocating to Florida, having served previously as a director of the Punta Gorda Historical Society, Charlotte County Historical Society and the Cultural Center of Charlotte County. He has been invited as a guest lecturer or speaker at numerous public events and ceremonies, and has a deep appreciation for nostalgia, history and a civic-minded approach to life.
