SCF Alumnus and Prosthodontist Shares Career Success Story

(Bradenton, Fla., Nov 6, 2018) —The American Chemical Society student affiliate club at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) continues its alumni speaker series at 7 p.m. Nov. 29 at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W. in Room 106, Building 29 as Dr. Ben Tindal shares his path to becoming a prosthodontist and business owner. Tindal specializes in dental implant tooth replacement, esthetic dentistry and reconstructive oral health care services. The seminar is free and open to the public.

Born and raised in northern Indiana, Tindal moved with his family to Bradenton just before his senior year in high school. He started college at Manatee Community College, now SCF, where he received his associate degree before transferring to the University of South Florida where he completed his bachelor’s degree. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Florida (UF).

The American College of Prosthodontics recognized Tindal for outstanding undergraduate work in the field of prosthodontics. He completed a three-year residency at UF where he obtained his certificate in prosthodontics. During his third year of residency, he was selected to be the chief resident by his peers.

Tindal often tells his patients that he combines art, science and engineering to restore their smiles. His dedication to service and technical savvy makes him perfectly suited for the delicate work required of a prosthodontist. His passion for modern esthetic dentistry led him to complete his master’s research in the field of composite bonding. He continues to advance his knowledge in ceramics, dental implants and complex multidisciplinary treatment planning.
