SCF Honors Program Hosts Final Business of Creativity Seminar

(Bradenton, Fla., March 21, 2019) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host the seminar “Interactive Detective Adventure: Using Critical Thinking, Statistics, and Alternative Narratives to Find Solutions" from 3 to 6 p.m. Mar. 26 in the Selby Room, SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail. The seminar is free and open to the public.

This seminar will be an interactive detective adventure merging critical thinking, use of statistics and narrative engagement. Co-designed and sponsored by SCF Professors Dr. Frances Auld and Claire Geiger, Karen Bell of The Circus Arts Conservatory, and SCF Honors students as part of the Cross College Alliance (CCA) and The Business of Creativity seminars. This will be a fun and challenging learning experience.

The Business of Creativity is a series of seminars focused on innovation and the arts in the business, and technology sectors. The discussion also will afford opportunities for participants to share and contribute their classroom experiences, develop new skills, expand pedagogy, and diversify teaching and learning formats.
