SCF Mathematics Department Welcomes New Faculty Member Justice Boateng

(Bradenton, Fla., August 15, 2019) — The mathematics department at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) welcomes Justice Osei Boateng, who will begin teaching during the Fall 2019 term.

Boateng came to the United States in 2016 to pursue a Master of Science in statistics at the University of Akron and taught at Wayne College as an adjunct lecturer after finishing his studies. A native of Ghana, Boateng earned a scholarship to complete his bachelor’s degree in Russia. He is an applied statistician with proficiency in several data mining techniques and is also fluent in four languages: English, Russian, and the Ghanaian languages Ga and Twi.
