Learn About the Radiography Program at SCF

(Bradenton, Fla., Aug. 22, 2019)The radiography program at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host information sessions at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., for prospective students interested in applying to the program. Attendees will meet program instructors and learn about admission requirements, the curriculum and careers in radiologic technology. Individuals must attend an information session before applying to the program.

Information sessions run about two hours and are limited to 35 attendees. Details on how to RSVP are available online at SCF.edu/Radiography. Sessions will be offered on the following dates:

  • Thursday, Sept. 12, 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 17, 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020, 3 p.m.

SCF’s Radiography Program prepares graduates for careers as radiographers. As health care professionals, they work in various medical settings, producing radiographic images, assisting physicians during advanced radiographic procedures, determining safe exposure limits and providing appropriate patient care during procedures to produce filmless digital images.
