SCF Board Report: June 25, 2019

(Bradenton, Fla., July 1, 2019) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) District Board of Trustees (BOT) held its regular monthly meeting June 25 at SCF Bradenton. 

The board heard presentations on:

• SCF’s 2018-19 Achievements from President Dr. Carol F. Probstfeld.

The board approved:

• Nonfinancial and financial consent agenda items.
• A $200,000 project to replace the roof of the CIT Building at SCF Lakewood Ranch.
• A contract in the amount of $53,450 with Willis Smith Construction for phase one of the remodel of Building 8 at SCF Bradenton.
• A contract in the amount of $40,000 with Willis Smith Construction for phase one of the construction of the Studio for the Performing Arts at SCF Bradenton.
• SCF’s budget for the 2019-20 fiscal year that includes no tuition or fee changes.
• President Probstfeld’s 2019-2020 contract.
