(Bradenton, Fla., May 30, 2023) — Tampa Bay Bridge to Baccalaureate (TB-B2B) has a limited number of seats available for its STEM Summer Series, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., June 12-15, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W. This engaging, hands-on experience is open to current and new SCF students registered for Fall 2023, and includes exposure to computer science, coding, natural science and preparation for upper-level math like algebra and trigonometry. Since 2018, SCF’s TB-B2B program has offered networking and learning events, dedicated advising, help with coursework and tutoring, social support, conferences and more. Students in the program also benefit from undergraduate research experiences, attendance at national scientific conventions, community outreach, and development workshops focused on research methods, communication skills and professionalism.

SCF offers several associate in science and associate in arts degree options in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The credits earned in these programs are seamlessly transferable to the pursuit of four-year STEM degrees at Florida universities.

Individuals interested in the STEM Summer Series who have not yet registered for classes at SCF for Fall 2023 still have time to do so. Returning students can register through MySCF, while new students can apply today at SCF.edu/Admissions.
