Sept. 12\, 5 pm – 8 pm\nMeet the artist and enjoy refreshments while viewing the exhibition. \nFilm Screening & Discussion\, with Live Painting: Thurs. Oct. 10\, 5 pm – 7 pm\nFilm screening & discussion with Isalia Luna about her award-winning documentary on Alfredo Garcia. Alfredo will also be painting on site. \nOther open hours: 10 am – 2 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sept. 17\, 19\, 24\, 26 & Oct. 1\, 3\, 8 \nThe Gallery at SCF\, Bldg. 11 North \n\nThis exhibition features vibrant\, lively art that brings a Mexican sensibility to work created in Bradenton’s own Village of the Arts. \nAlfredo is a Mexican American artist working from his studio within Arte Coyoacano Gallery in Village of the Arts\, Bradenton. He studied at the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana Iztapalapa in Mexico before bringing his rich culture and creativity to the United States. His paintings and sculptures convey a unique perspective of the world. Inspired by everyday life and personal beliefs\, his deep optimism is represented by bright colors\, soft shapes\, and joyful patterns.
