Early Success Program
What is the Early Success Program?
The Early Success Program was created to improve the awareness of, access to and integration of developmental screening and early intervention services to families of children birth to 9 years in order to better identify and address any developmental difficulties or delays that are potentially predictive of a child's subsequent learning problems.
Early Success Program Principles
- Look at consumer-side focus or family orientation to accessing services.
- Integrate services in the natural environment of the child and family.
- Utilize and build upon existing community resources and services to improve services.
- Provide support and augment existing resources rather than provide direct services unless there is a need for additional services.
- Develop resources that are needed to fulfill the mission.
