  • SCF Summer Flex Start Classes Fit Your Schedule State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) registration for summer Flex Start classes is now open, allowing students to take accelerated courses that fit their schedule in order to get ahead or catch up in their pursuit of a degree.   • SCF Honors Spring Class of 2020 With Virtual Ceremony State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) celebrated the achievements of the Spring Class of 2020 May 1 during a virtual ceremony broadcast on Sarasota Community Radio WSLR, 96.5 FM. The event was also livestreamed on the College's Facebook page. Of the 819 students eligible to participate, 539 earned Associate in Arts degrees, 169 earned Associate in Science degrees and 96 received bachelor's degrees.   • SCF Extends Dual Enrollment Deadline for High School Students The State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Early College Program is extending the Fall 2020 deadline for qualified high school students to sign up for dual enrollment until Aug. 1. Early College enables high school students to enroll in selected college courses to satisfy requirements for high school graduation while earning College credit.
