° Community Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (Venice Office) Located at 628 Cypress Avenue, Venice, FL. 34285 (941) 488-5709 (V/TDD) & 941-244-5029 (VP). Provides services for people with hearing loss who reside in Manatee County and Sarasota County.
° Florida Relay Services (FRS) for the Deaf Phone (800) 955-8770 (Voice to TDD) or (800) 955-8771 (TDD to Voice) The Florida Relay Service assists those who wish to telephone a person who is deaf, but who do not have a Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD). They may call the Florida Relay Service and request that the Service relay the information for them. If a deaf person wishes to communicate with a person who as no TDD, the deaf person may call FSR on the TDD and FSR operator will relay the information to whomever the deaf person is calling.
