Our 100-acre campus on South Tamiami Trail opened in 1985 and is equal distance from
Venice, Englewood and North Port. The area's shifting demographics are reflected in
the rapid growth of this campus. Almost 3,000 students are enrolled in classes at
this full-service campus. All student services are available here.
The Sarah H. Pappas Professional Development Center is at the entrance of the campus.
This 38,101 square-foot building features classrooms, computer laboratories, a nursing
wing and laboratory, multipurpose area, and offices for Corporate and Community Development
programs.
The Lakeside Café, located in the Student Union, serves breakfast and lunch. The bookstore
is also housed in the Student Union and provides books for classes as well as clothing
and other items that show SCF spirit. Numerous clubs and intramural sports activities
are located on this campus.
Continued enhancements to SCF Venice include a canopied outdoor Performance Pavilion
that is centrally located on campus and a pergola erected adjacent to the Student
Union and wetlands, creating a tranquil place for study and repose.
