We share your passion for enriching the lives of young children through teaching excellence, and understand your desire to meet all of their needs. SCF is committed to helping you earn the credentials that will help advance your career in education. Find your professional place by pursing a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.

What you’ll study
As you progress through the early childhood education program, you will demonstrate subject knowledge through field experiences and internships. Learn Lesson planning and management skills that you’ll use every day.

What you’ll learn
You will learn to create environments that are healthy, respectful and age appropriate. You will also develop an understanding and value the diversity of children and their families. Your final three courses will be an intensive internship which will prepare you to enter or advance in the field.

Where it can take you
Our program is uniquely designed for students seeking employment in the field of early childhood services. The program fulfills the legal requirements implemented for Head Start teachers and directors, as well as teachers in Florida Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten programs.
