SCF Board of Trustees Report: April 26, 2022

(Bradenton, Fla., April 26, 2022) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) District Board of Trustees (BOT) held its regular monthly meeting virtually and in-person with essential staff and trustees on April 26.
The board heard presentations on:
- SCF’s 2021-2026 Strategic Plan from Ryan Hale, acting vice president for institutional effectiveness and research.
- SCF’s 2021 Equity Report from Ryan Hale.
The board approved:
- Nonfinancial and financial consent agenda items.
- A contract in the amount of $1,136,561 with Halfacre Construction for underground hot water piping and cooling tower condenser piping replacement at SCF Bradenton.
- An increase of $1.3 million in the overall budget from $4.5 million to $5.8 million for the construction of the SCF Venice Science & Technology Building.
The next board meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. on May 24, 2022, at SCF Bradenton.
