(Bradenton, Fla., Nov. 2, 2022) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Veteran Services will host a community event to recognize all branches of the military at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., Library & Learning Center, Mezzanine, and SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail, Performance Pavilion. Both events are free and open to the public.

SCF Venice will host keynote speaker Mike Sabo, Venice Veteran Service Officer with the American Legion, NO-VEL Post 159. The ceremony at SCF Bradenton will feature remarks from guest speakers representing different branches of the military. SCF will bestow tokens of appreciation for service to SCF student veterans who attend. Light refreshments will be served.
