(Bradenton, Fla., March 9, 2023) – State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host Maverick’s Rhythm & Rave, a free community party featuring live music, line dancing, a petting zoo, rock climbing, chainsaw art, food trucks and other fun activities for all ages, 5-9 p.m. Friday, March 24. Local musician Trevor Bystrom and his multicultural band will perform on the main stage followed by Derek Lersch, a touring country rock act. The party will take place outdoors at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., on the east side of the campus, parallel to 26th St. The family-friendly event is appropriate for audiences of all ages.
