Become a Certified Personal Trainer with SCF Workforce Development and W.I.T.S.

(Bradenton, Fla., April 20, 2023) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) is offering a hybrid personal training certification course on Saturdays from May 6 to June 17, with no class on May 27. Instructors from World Instructor Training Schools (W.I.T.S.) will lead the blend of in-person and online sessions. The course includes five online lectures from 9 a.m.-noon and five in-person sessions at a local fitness center from 1-4 p.m. Final exams, both written and practical, will take place March 25, beginning at 9 a.m. Online registration is available at SCF.edu/Training by searching course 15194.
Participants can expect practical hands-on experience during the course and access to a national pool of employment opportunities upon completion. The fee for the course and certification exam is $899. A textbook is required and not included in the cost of the course.
