Active Duty Out-of-State Tuition Waiver

Florida House Bill 799 waives out-of-state tuition and fees for a person who is an active duty member of the Armed Forces of the United States residing or stationed outside of this state.  

To qualify for this waiver an individual must complete and submit the SCF Active Duty Out-of-State Tuition Wavier application*.  The submission of an application expresses consent of the applicant to allow SCF to verify the applicant's active duty status.  In order to verify the applicant's active duty status their date of birth (MM/DD/YYYY) must be provided.

If the applicant chooses they may upload a copy of their military ID or most current Leave and Earning Statement (LES) using the Document Upload section of the online application.  The application may be accessed by clicking the blue button below.  You will be required to login with your MYSCF credentials.   

*This application does not satisfy requirements necessary to establish Florida residency for tuition purposes.
