Graduation Checklist
1. Apply for Your Degree – Deadline: May 6, 2026
Submit your Graduation Application to be considered for a degree or certificate. Within a week of applying, you will receive an email with your application status.
Applying for graduation does not automatically register you for Commencement.
Dual Enrollment students must complete a paper application. Please reach out to Graduation@SCF.edu to receive an application.
2. RSVP for Commencement – Deadline: March 20, 2026
Graduates who wish to participate in Commencement must RSVP through Tassel. There are two different ceremonies held on the same day – details can be found on the ceremony information page. Please save your Tassel confirmation email from Graduation@SCF.edu once your RSVP is complete. Note: Grad Walk is the only option available past the deadline.
After submitting your Graduation Application, you will receive an email with RSVP instructions within a week.
If you have not received RSVP instructions within a week of applying, contact Graduation@SCF.edu.
3. Order Cap and Gown – Deadline: March 31, 2026
Graduates must wear SCF-approved regalia, which can be purchased in advance through the SCF Bookstore. Graduates who miss the deadline can still purchase the cap and gown in-person from the SCF Bookstore.
Graduates are welcome to decorate their caps, using discretion for school-appropriate designs. Additional SCF memorabilia is available through the bookstore.
4. Complete the Graduation Survey – Deadline: May 6, 2026
All graduates are encouraged to share their experience by completing the Graduate Survey.

Order Your Official Transcript

To ensure your transcript reflects your degree, select “Hold for Degree” when ordering.
Note: Most institutions require an official transcript rather than your diploma as proof of graduation.
Review Your SCF Account
Before graduation, log in to MySCF to check for any outstanding holds or pending items. Continue monitoring your SCF email for important updates.
For any questions, contact the Registrar’s Office Graduation team.
Final Notes
Additional details, including your scheduled ceremony time and ticket information, will be shared later in the semester to students that RSVP’d through Tassel.
Congratulations, graduates! We look forward to celebrating your achievements.
