SCF Music Schedule for October 2022 Updated

(Bradenton, Fla., Oct. 4, 2022) — The Music Program atState College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) has announced the following schedule changes because of Hurricane Ian’s impact. The “Fall Festival of Music” is rescheduled from Oct. 6 to Oct. 13. “Magnificent Seven” is rescheduled from Oct. 13 to Nov. 17.  Tickets for each show can be purchased online at or by calling 941-752-5252. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $5 for SCF students and staff.

“Fall Festival of Music” — Thursday, Oct. 13, 7:30 p.m., SCF Neel Performing Arts Center

Every SCF ensemble comes together for the season’s first performance in the SCF Neel Performing Arts Center. Join the Symphonic Band, Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Guitar Ensemble, Jazz Big Band, and Jazz Combo for the annual “Fall Festival of Music.”

“Magnificent Seven” — Thursday, November 17, 7:30 p.m., SCF Neel Performing Arts Center

The SCF Bradenton Symphony Orchestra celebrates its seventh season. To celebrate the occasion, the evening’s program will include a pair of sensational sevens. The performance features Elmer Bernstein’s main theme from the film “The Magnificent Seven” and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7. The concert will also feature a performance of Franz Schubert’s “Unfinished Symphony.”
