Free 2024 Tax Preparation for Eligible Veterans and SCF Through United Way Suncoast

Bradenton, Fla. Mar. 10, 2025

(Bradenton, Fla., March 10, 2025) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host a free, in-person tax preparation event for eligible veterans, SCF staff, faculty and students, and SCF students’ parents on Saturday, March 15, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., Veteran Services office, Building 5.

IRS-certified volunteers from United Way Suncoast’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will be on-site to e-file 2024 tax returns and process direct deposit refunds if applicable. Participants must have $79,000 or less of income earned in 2024, a 2024 tax return, a simple tax situation, and the necessary tax, income, childcare, bank account and other documentation.
