SCF Board of Trustees Report: Dec. 9, 2025

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) District Board of Trustees held its regular monthly meeting on Dec. 9.

The board heard presentations on:

  • President’s Report Tommy Gregory, J.D., president, SCF.
  • Mission Moment: Fleet Force CDL, Tra Williams, President and CEO, and Terri Clark, Consultant.
  • CFO Report – Jennifer Price, vice president of finance and CFO.
  • SCF Foundation Update – Cassandra Holmes, vice president of advancement and executive director, SCF Foundation.

The board approved:

  • Nonfinancial and financial consent agenda items.
  • An increase in the amount of $7,892 to the $500,000 budget for the replacement of the roof on Building 26, Science Building, SCF Bradenton.
  • A contract with The Garland Company Inc in the amount of $507,892 for the replacement of the roof on Building 26, Science Building, SCF Bradenton.
  • Revision to Rule 6HX14-1.07 Responsibility and Authority of the President.

The next board meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at SCF Bradenton.
