BRADENTON, FL (December 11, 2025)—State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will close for winter break from Friday, Dec. 19 through Thursday, Jan. 1. Registration for classes will remain open on the My.SCF.edu portal. SCF will resume normal operating hours on Friday, Jan. 2, and Spring 2025 classes will begin on Monday, Jan. 12. 

The SCF Bradenton Bookstore in Building 14 will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and close on Dec. 24, Dec. 25, and Jan. 1. The SCF Venice Bookstore in Building 500 will be open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and close on Dec. 24, Dec. 25, and Jan. 1. Students can shop online on the bookstore’s website.

The SCF Food Pantry will remain available for students through Public Safety. Students can call SCF Bradenton Public Safety at 941-752-5550 or SCF Venice Public Safety at 941-408-1550 to access the food pantry. For additional support, students can call a free and confidential counseling line at 941-752-5107.
