SCF Board of Trustees Report: Jan. 27, 2026

Bradenton, FL (Jan. 27, 2026) – State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) District Board of Trustees held its regular monthly meeting on Jan. 27.
The board heard presentations on:
- President’s Report – Tommy Gregory, J.D., president, SCF.
- Mission Moment – SCF Radiography Program – Pat Patterson, professor and program director, SCF.
- SCF Foundation Update – Cassandra Holmes, vice president of advancement and executive director, SCF Foundation.
- CFO Report – Jennifer Price, vice president of finance and administrative services/CFO.
- SCF Annual Safety Inspection Report – Chris Wellman, vice president of operations.
- Rule 6HX14-2.26 Holidays and Other Paid Non-Duty Days – Steve Prouty, vice president and general counsel.
The board approved:
- Nonfinancial and financial consent agenda items.
- Negotiation with Sweet Sparkman Architects for the SCF Parrish and Venice Collegiate School design contracts to be approved by the board at a future meeting.
- Negotiation with Willis Smith Construction for pre-construction and construction services for the SCF Parrish and Venice Collegiate Schools.
- Refurbishment of SCF’s baseball and softball athletic fields at SCF Bradenton for a total budget of $900,000.
- SCF’s new mission and vision statements, and values.
- A 2025-26 revised Trustee meeting schedule.
The next board meeting is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Feb. 24 at SCF Bradenton.
