Course Description
(4) A.S. Four hours lecture/ laboratory per week. Prerequisite: successful completion of BSC 2426. This course explores methods for analyzing proteins within the context of biotechnology applications. Prerequisite: successful completion of BSC 1007 or BSC 2010. This course covers the theories and techniques used in isolating and cultivating animal and plant cells in vitro. It includes applications of cell culture to solving problems relating to age, cancer, toxicology and genetic engineering.
