BRADENTON, FL (September 5, 2025) — The English Language Institute atState College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota offers beginner and intermediate English for College and Communication classes from September to December 2025 at SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Pkwy., Sarasota, Center for Innovation and Technology building.

The courses are designed for individuals whose first language is not English, helping them improve their English skills and prepare for academic studies.

Class Schedule:

English for College and Communication Part 1

• 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 9 to Oct. 23.
• 5-7 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, Oct. 13 to Dec. 4.

English for College and Communication Part 2

• 7:30-9:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, Oct. 13 to Dec. 4.
• 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, Oct. 28 to Dec. 11.

Tuition is $550 for each class. The fee includes all class materials and an English learning app. Students must bring their own headphones to complete independent listening activities. Part 2 requires completion of Part 1 or an eligible placement test score.
