SCF Theatre Presents “One Slight Hitch”

Bradenton, Fla. Apr. 4, 2023

(Bradenton, Fla., April 4, 2023) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Theatre will present Lewis Black’s “One Slight Hitch” at 8 p.m. April 14, 15, 21 and 22, with 2 p.m. matinees April 16 and 23. The show will take place in the Howard Studio Theatre, 5840 26th St. W., Building 11 West, Bradenton.

It’s Courtney’s wedding day, and her mom, Delia, is making sure that everything is perfect. The groom is perfect, the dress is perfect, and the decorations will be perfect. If the decorations ever arrive, that is. Then, like in any good farce, the doorbell rings. And all hell breaks loose. So much for perfect.

SCF Theatre’s production of “One Slight Hitch,” under the direction of Amanda Schlachter, features a cast of SCF students, including Elizabeth Sorba, Martin Nicholas, Helen Sanford, Eyrelin Laviolette, Ruby Daines, Thomas Finn and Burtmur Pierre. Craig Smith designed the sets, and Kenji Trujillo led costume design. Timothy Bourn will manage technical direction and sound.
