Colleges and career schools use the FAFSA form to determine how much financial aid you're eligible to receive, which could include grants, scholarships, work-study funds, and loans. You must apply for aid every year, but with the right information in hand, it's easy.

Please contact the Financial Aid Services office staff at SCF Bradenton or SCF Venice to determine if any documents are required.
Required Verification Forms
If you have been selected for FAFSA Verification, please come into the financial aid office (Bradenton or Venice) during office hours, or you can request the necessary documents be sent to you to return via email/fax/mail. Contact options are on the left of this webpage. If you are selected to confirm your identity, please be sure to have a non-expired/current government issued ID with you when completing this form in the Financial Aid Office. Examples: State Driver’s License, State ID Card, US Passport, Permanent Resident Card.

- Request a decrease in your Federal Direct Stafford Loans
- Request a cancellation of your Federal Direct Stafford Loans
- Request a decrease or cancellation of your Federal Work Study
- Declining Financial Aid Award
- Title IV Authorization
Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
- Documentation must be uploaded
- Incomplete appeals will be automatically denied.
