A college degree may be closer than you think!
As a Sarasota or Manatee county school student, you may have taken career, technical or academy classes at your high school or technical college. Through a career pathways agreement between SCF and the local school districts, students can receive college credit for the work they've completed. The credits that you earn now as a high school student, can be applied to certificates and/or Associate of Science degrees at SCF, as long as you continue your career path within the same field. You pay no tuition for the credits your receive from this agreement. Details of the agreement can be found in the "Career Pathways Agreement". Learn about the college's career and technical programs.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
1- Successfully complete a career, technical or academy program at your high school or technical college
2-Apply to the State College of Florida and select the Certificate/A.S. degree that relates to your high school or technical college program.
3-Complete a Request for Articulated Credit---and contact your Career Pathways Representative as listed below
